Enjoy your company car, as well as your expense account.
Keep interested in your own career and take notes of other persons mistakes, however humble, for they can be real possessions in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your affairs for the corporation is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is in giving verbal orders and never writing anything down that might be held against you.
Be yourself.
Neither be cynical about corporate profits; for in the face of all trends and economic indicators, they are as perenial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering your naivety.

You are a child of the corporation, no less than the shareholders and the directors; you have a right to be here.

Therefore, be at peace with your superoirs, whatever you conceive them to be, and whatever your labours and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of corporate life, keep at peace with your co-workers.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, the corporation still provides a regular cheque.

Strive to look important, for one ounce of image is worth a pound of performance.
